Clarity LIMS to Support Illumina HiSeq X™ Ten


GenoLogics works with Garvan Institute of Medical Research to support cutting edge sequencing platform

Victoria, B.C. January 29, 2014 GenoLogics Life Sciences Software, a leading provider of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) specifically designed for omics labs, announced today that the coming release of Clarity LIMS will support next generation sequencing workflows and integrations for the Illumina HiSeq X Ten. The functionality will be used and beta-tested by the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney Australia.

Garvan, a Clarity LIMS customer since early 2013 and a HiSeq X Ten customer, will provide feeback on the LIMS functionality tailored for the HiSeq X Ten prior to the general release of the insturment support currently slated for March 2014.

We are excited to support this groundbreaking platform from Illumina, remarks Michael Ball, CEO of GenoLogics. We have enjoyed a unique relationship with Illumina for a number of years, leading to jointly developed LIMS integrations for all Illumina sequencers. Since Clarity LIMS is already installed in some of the largest genomics labs in the world, the HiSeq X Ten is an obvious next step in our support of Illumina customers.

Advances in Genome Biology & Technology (AGBT) meeting next month.

Bluechiip and OnQ complete software integration project





Bluechiip Ltd (ASX:BCT) and OnQ announce the integration project between the companies respective software products has been completed, namely Stream and QLIMS respectively. 

This unique integration allows the QLIMS software to interface directly with Bluechiip readers to integrate Bluechiip sample chain-of-custody and temperature information with OnQ Software’s comprehensive laboratory information management system, QLIMS. QLIMS is extensively used in the pharmaceutical, mining, food, contract, water/waste water, semi-conductor, power stations, chemical and biological sciences industries. The integration is seen as positive step towards establishing an end to end solution with effective chain of custody occurring from time to delivery of the sample to its successful conclusion.

PathXL and OnQ Software Sign Distribution Agreement for Digital Pathology Workflow
