Bluechiip signs Australian distribution agreement with OnQ Software
Bluechiip Limited (ASX: BCT) today announced that it has entered into an exclusive Distribution Agreement with OnQ to sell Bluechiip products as part of their QLIMS software solution that integrates the Bluechiip chain-of-custody and temperature tracking for Australia and New Zealand. The scope of the agreement includes the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic, clinical, governmental, healthcare, industrial and environmental markets.
Bluechiip’s sample chain-of-custody and temperature capability together with OnQ Software’s QLIMS product provides an end-to-end tracking solution that is not otherwise available.
Bluechiip Limited Acting CEO Jason Chaffey said “This distribution agreement is a logical next step after completing the software integration project and we are proud to be working with an innovative company such as OnQ.”

Clarity LIMS to Support Illumina HiSeq X™ Ten
GenoLogics works with Garvan Institute of Medical Research to support cutting edge sequencing platform
Victoria, B.C. – January 29, 2014 – GenoLogics Life Sciences Software, a leading provider of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) specifically designed for omics labs, announced today that the coming release of Clarity LIMS will support next generation sequencing workflows and integrations for the Illumina HiSeq X™ Ten. The functionality will be used and beta-tested by the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney Australia.
Garvan, a Clarity LIMS customer since early 2013 and a HiSeq X™ Ten customer, will provide feeback on the LIMS functionality tailored for the HiSeq X™ Ten prior to the general release of the insturment support currently slated for March 2014.
“We are excited to support this groundbreaking platform from Illumina,” remarks Michael Ball, CEO of GenoLogics. “ We have enjoyed a unique relationship with Illumina for a number of years, leading to jointly developed LIMS integrations for all Illumina sequencers.
